tHE PUPS LOVED THE FLAVORS

?I've never given my boy, Calvin, "ice cream" before. As a puppy, he was rescued from an abusive man, whose actions led to Calvin having immune system deficiencies among other things. Well, Calvin's been with me for over 11 years now and will be turning 12 in September. His doctor never thought he'd make it past 9 but I've been very focused on improving Calvin's health through special food and other lifestyle decisions and my efforts have been rewarded. Yay!I'm VERY careful about what he eats and was hesitant to give him this Hoggin' Dogs ice cream. However, as Calvin is happily (and healthily) living out his senior years and it gets very hot here in the summer months, I wanted to give this a try. After all, he deserves a special treat, especially at his age, and the ingredients seemed reasonably wholesome.The package came quickly and was really cute. It's also easy to store. I followed the directions and poured the contents into a small mixing bowl. Then I added 1/3 cup of water and used a whisk to combine it. It came out very smooth with no lumps at all. (I think using a separate bowl and a whisk is key here.) I poured the mixture back into the original cup, popped it in the freezer and waited anxiously for it to solidify.Six hours later... the pictures and video say it all! Calvin LOVES this stuff! I only allow him a small amount at a time but it hasn't upset his tummy at all. He'd finish the whole thing in one sitting if I let him. Lol!So far, he's gone through the bacon and cheese flavors, and is currently making his way through the banana flavor. It's not an everyday treat so, in moderation, this 4-pack has lasted a good length of time. When it's all gone, I'll definitely buy more for my boy.Thanks, Hoggin' Dogs! You get two dew claws up from Calvin!

 

I was amazed at how much our pit bull puppy enjoyed this treat. All 4 flavors (2 of which sounded weird) good product perfect size cups.

Hoggin Dogs Sample Pack All 4 Flavors Ice Cream! ??First let me start by saying, thank youuu Hoggin Dogs!! My puppies were extremely excited on their birthdays to receive this ice cream. I think if they could write this review themselves, they would get it a full five star as well. If you love your pupps as much as I love mine, then this is definitely an outstanding treat for them! Satisfactory of them licking their entire bowls clean will give you the reassurance that it was completely worth it! ?? ??

 

So...the banana flavored powder smelled SO good when I opened it. Mixed it in the blender and stuck it in the freezer. Once it was frozen, I smelled it, and it smelled like absolutely nothing. And then, because it's human grade ingredients, I tasted it. Tasted like heavily salted milk. Gave it to my pups, and both lapped it up. Not long after, one pup vomited, and now has very loose stools this morning. Will be throwing away the rest of the value pack.
