I tried to mix the water-powder combo with a mini-mixer but it was too messy. Whichever way works for you, best to mix in the sink. I pour the powder in the container, fill with water close to the rim, stir with a butter knife to get all sides of the container, and then place the lid on and shake vigorously so there are no lumps. I buy this ice cream every month through subscribe and save and after time and practice, I do not follow the measurement instructions on the package anymore.I have this ice cream shipped to my parents house for their Jack Russell and he, too, loves all the flavors.
