My 18 year old dog loved her cake. She was able to eat it (she has minimal teeth) and had enough for multiple servings.
Partner made it in a 6” heart shaped pan. Was simple to make, included frosting and decorations. We were pleased with what we got for the price. However, the birthday girl disagreed. She hated everything that day. She finally ate it with whipped cream on it.
Sadly, a big ingredient is dairy, so my dog couldn't have it. The family I gave it to is really weird and hard core Mormon. The dad read all of the ingredients. I guess it fit into the extreme no processed food diet so he fed it to his kid. When they come over for their religion book clubs I babysit the kid. He told me the cake was delicious... so if you want a healthy cake as a human you can eat it...??? If your dog can't have milk then don't give it to your fur baby, otherwise, it's super healthy!!
I’ve been buying puppy cake for years. Always recommend their products to all the pet parents, I just didn’t want to pay the shipping on their website so I appreciate that it’s offered on Amazon now. It’s a bit more expensive but without the cost of shipping from their website, it ended up being cheaper. They used to do a $5 Friday and stopped (stupid inflation) where I’d buy a years worth at once and not have to pay shipping. We’d make ice cream sandwiches, tons of cupcakes, all of it, and my pitty has a sensitive tummy and always does fine with their products.
My dogs are super picky. My Rat Terrier ate some day 1 but any other time i had to bribe him with whipped cream. My Dachshund ate day one and no more, my Chihuahua wouldn't touch it at all. It does have a strong scent of vanilla and some others.
