All 3 beagles loved the pumpkin puppy cake we got for our puppy turning one year old! Very easy to make!

A family member bought this kit for our dog for her 15th birthday. Because she loves food and likes to eat a lot at once, we cut it up into very small pieces and she took her time eating through the few pieces that were cut up for her. Pretty soon she started to try to vomit up the cake. She was having trouble, and before we knew it she turned limp from being unable to breath. She finally was able to vomit the cake up and it was rock hard in the shape of her throat, it turned hard when she tried to eat it. I’m not sure if this is a fluke or what but I would not recommend this for anyone’s dog after our experience. For a 15 year old dog, any little thing could bring her down and we are very lucky she was eventually able get the cake out.

It was super easy to make. I used the frosting that it came with and added blue food dye for the base. For the edge, I mixed 1/4 cup of peanut butter (no xylitol) and 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt. The dogs loved it.

 

I can't personally vouch for the taste. My wife tried a small sample, and said that it's not very good....but the dogs loved it!

I have 2 small dogs it was very large.. perfect for large breedVery easy to make and came in handy I'm guessing it tasted good they love it my husband tryed a bite lol and he said it wasn't bad lol
