My dogs love these cakes! I make one for them every few months and they tear them up. I make cupcakes and one box makes 8 regular sized cupcakes. So far they have only had the peanut butter flavor, but I?m sure they will love the pumpkin just as much.
Not sure why all the pics have so much frosting. Of the 10 pumpkin cupcakes that I baked, only 7 could be frosted and they weren?t even covered. The pictures that show 2 layer cakes, etc. should include how many boxes were used or what was done to get the extra frosting. I was disappointed with the one box that I baked and attempted to frost!!
Really cute set, unfortunately my dog us picky and didn?t care for it. But super cute for photos.
OK that was super cute packaging. It came in the tiniest box. Not that I was expecting a full cake size box but it was a little small. And yes it did make a tiny cake for the dogs. The icing didn?t really work out for us. Our two taste testers could take it or leave it. One dog is a garbage gut and eats anything. She ate some and declined some. My finicky eater ate some if it was in the smallest bite. So can?t evaluate flavor much but I?d say get it for the fun of making the dog a cake but they may not request seconds.
It was really easy to make and as I do not have an oven right now I thought it would be fantastic!!Made them in the microwave it was super fast and amazing. House smelled delicious. But the dogs ( white Labrador, German shepherd, dachshund terrier, and two chihuahua mix breeds had to be begged to eat them and even then ended up either spitting it's out, or leaving it after the first bite.My doggies definitely didn't like this one. Maybe it's the pumpkin flavor? Not sure.
