Cake was good-Two tablespoons of water is to much. One tablespoon is more than enough

The product itself seems fine, only problem is the packaging. The package arrived to me with the box of the mix mostly open, and with the mailing sticker right on the instructions to make the cake.. not the most convenient spot to put that lol.

I have ordered this in the past for my pup's bday, and my dog absolutely loves it. However, I ordered it this year & the delivery was just awful. It did not come in an envelope or any kind of covering. The box was crushed & there are no safety seals in place, so anyone could have taken out/put in anything. Also, the entire box is COVERED in shipping labels, so guess what? The instructions are obstructed & I have no way to make this. When I tried peeling the labels off, the box ripped with the label. Good product, but extremely disappointed in the delivery, which is why I'm deducting stars.

Not enough frosting comes with it to make it look decent and the cake was crumbly and dry except for the places it wasn't cooked enough. And it wasn't my oven! My dog didn't care though, which is why I gave it 3 stars instead of one. ??

First I'll say the cake bakes really well and my doc seemed to really like it. Now for the flaws: the product's cover photo shows a two layer cake, however nowhere in the directions is it described about making two layers. Also, there wouldn't be enough frosting for two layers as there already isn't enough to cover the cake as a single layer. and about the frosting, during the preparation it takes on a stiff, waxy consistency which makes it difficult to spread.That being said, I would probably purchase the cake again as my dog really liked it and it was easy to prepare. I would just plan to supplement the included frosting with more of my own
