Are you looking for a fun dessert for your dog during the hot summer months? Puppy Cake has a solution for you (and your pup!). Make pup-sicles out of ice cream for your dog to enjoy on those warm summer days. It’s so easy to make using our Puppy Scoops Ice Cream Mix for dogs! There are just a few simple steps to create pup-sicles for your dog.
Let’s get started!!!
For the purpose of this blog post, I’m using three different doggie-delicious ice cream mix flavors; Peanut Butter Ice Cream Mix, Blueberry Smart Scoops Ice Cream Mix and Vanilla Ice Cream Mix. I’m also using 3 different trays/ molds to use. You can certainly use an ice cube tray if you prefer.
Next, follow the directions on the back of the cup of Puppy Scoops Ice Cream Mix for dogs. For faster results, empty the contents of the powdered mix into and blender and add 2/3 cup of warm tap water. Blend well! For easier dispense, pour the mix back into the Puppy Scoops cup.
Find your desired ice cube tray or mold and pour the ice cream mixture evenly into each mold/ cube!

Once your ice cube trays and molds are filled with puppy scoops ice cream mix, place in the freezer for at least 5 hours! (*NOTE: if using a silicone mold, place the mold on a baking sheet for easier handling) For Best results, freeze overnight.
Once your cubes are frozen, remove from the freezer and pop out your paw print and bone-shaped molds. To remove the ice cream from the ice cube tray, slightly dip the bottom of the tray in warm water to loosen the cubes for a few seconds.
And there you go – Now your dog can enjoy yummy frozen treats to stay cool!
