Continuing our Pumpkin Spice recipes for dogs with a Pumpkin Dream Cake; introducing a 3-layered Pumpkin Spice cake, made exclusively for your four-legged furry friend. It’s so easy to make so let’s get started.
What You’ll Need:
3 Boxes of Pumpkin Spice Cake Mix
Eggs
Oil
Water
1 ½ cups of crushed dog food
First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Follow the directions on the back of the cake mix box and mix together 1 egg, ¾ cup water and 2 TBSP of oil. Stir well. Spray a 6” round cake pan with non-stick cooking spray. Pour the cake batter into the pan evenly and pop into the oven for about 11 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
Repeat the above step 2 more times!
When all 3 cakes have been made and are completely cool, make the icing. Each cake mix comes complete with a packet of icing. Open one packet of icing and add 2 TBSP of water and stir well. Spread evenly on one cake then sprinkle with crushed dog food. Then layer on top with another cake and repeat with the icing and crushed dog food.
Once your cake is complete, cut a slice for your pup and serve!!!
